2. Information We Collect
- Mobile number: for Firebase phone sign-in, account verification, security, and support.
- Profile name: shown with your account and posts.
- User-generated posts: titles, descriptions, categories, city, dates, uploaded images, and submitted links.
- Photos/images: only when you choose to upload images for posts.
- Device/app identifiers: Firebase UID, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, app/session token, and device token for login, notifications, and reliability.
- Reports/support/deletion requests: used to moderate content and process user requests.
- Technical logs: server logs, timestamps, errors, and request information for security and debugging.
- Users can send post-related chat messages. Chat messages may be stored securely for app functionality, safety, moderation, and abuse reporting.
3. Permissions
- Camera/photos: used only when you create a photo post.
- Notifications: used for local updates and app notifications if enabled.
- Internet/network: used to load posts, images, links, categories, and account data.
4. How We Use Data
We use data for app functionality, account management, user-generated post display, notifications, moderation, fraud prevention, security, support, diagnostics, and legal or Google Play compliance.
5. Public Content
Posts you publish may be visible to other app users and can include your profile name, post text, image, link, category, and date. Do not post sensitive personal information.
6. Content Sources and Government Information
Nagpur News is not a government app and does not represent any government entity. The app may display local public updates and user-submitted posts. Any government-related information should be checked with the relevant official government website or department before relying on it.
7. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Branch deep links, Google Play services, and backend hosting/storage providers. We do not sell personal information.

9. Account and Data Deletion
You can request account deletion at https://abcd.sahyadri.news/nagpur/account-deletion. Account deletion removes your account record and associated posts unless limited retention is required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, disputes, or backup recovery.

Nagpur News is not directed to children under 13. Users must not upload or share content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes children. See our Child Safety Standards.
